Rain dance Harald Eide 1987 The sky is cloudy and grey as I walk along the road while the rain is comin' down. I'm happy ( that ) I bought these boots the other day. I feel I have to smile as I'm dancin' in the rain. I'm headin' for the flat of the one that I love,- she's waitin' for me by the open fire place. And when I see her, I'm gonna kiss her. I'm gonna take her in my arms and carry her in. "What if we go for a walk ? ", she says with a smile on her lips while she's puttin' on her boots. She reaches for my hand and I take her hand in mine,- umbrella's commin' up,- sound of rain drops commin' down. The smell of wet gras, and from the leaf of the trees reaches my nose,- yes, this is to live. And when I look at her, I want'a kiss her. I want'a take her in my arms and carry her in. I feel her hand, warm and soft.... She turns towards me, her lips get close, they get closer.... Her hands are everywhere,- eyes that shine like stars. I'll have to try to escape, but her kisses make me stay, oh yeah ! The air of perfume makes me dizzy and weak,- can't move. She takes me in her arms, and rocks me like a child..... I'm happy and I know that God smiles as I'm dancin' in the rain with the girl He gave to me. Kiddin'n and laughin' and dancin' along,- I'm happy as can be, and love is all that I can see.
